Ten Ton Man encourages taking as many second chances as necessary.
I’ve had many second chances, hell, even third and fourth chances. And what matters more than failing is what I learned along the way. Disappointment and failure can sometimes make you more motivated and fuel your persistence to succeed in life, music, whatever.
I had my chance with music and bands and had put the music down for many years after dealing with the dynamics of a band, its members, and their egos.
Years later, my father had passed away and I realised that life goes by quickly and I should get back to my passions and doing the things that were satisfying and rewarding: Music.
I picked up my music and gave it another chance, taking the time to find the right people with the right chemistry. Getting the sound I wanted without compromise. Honing my voice, being patient, creating the songs the way I had always imagined, and this time all the hard work had exceeded my expectations.
I learned from my previous experiences and I was going to make this next chance count. So take a second chance, take them all, because by chance, I found what I first set out to accomplish.
